Bob Johnson has had over 30 years of experience designing, manufacturing and teaching people about TENS units. In this simple video, he guides you step by step on how to use your TENS unit for maximum pain relief benefit.
TENS has been popular form of pain therapy for quite some time.
The great thing about it - can be used on the go. The portable battery operated unit can be worn almost anywhere.
Advantage of Interferential
TENS is great, but interferential offers carryover pain relief. Interferential is similar to TENS, but has some distinct differences. I won't get into the technicalities here, you can read about that elsewhere on our site.
The main advantage is this; once the treatment is over, the pain relief can continue for some time with Interferential therapy. This is called carryover pain relief. The benefit carries over from the treatment session. With a TENS unit, typically once you turn it off, the pain relief goes away pretty quick. With interferential, you have some relief lasting for some time. It may be an hour, a day or a week. It depends on the individual situation. Oftentimes with regular use, the carryover period can be extended, allowing freedom from having to be hooked up to a device.
You can try interferential for yourself at no cost whatsoever. We offer a 30-day free trial. Often insurance pays for the Infrex Plus unit, so there may be little or no cost to you at all. Even if you don't have insurance, we will be glad to work out a reasonable payment plan, - we want you to be pain free, if at all possible.
